Reaching Milestones
Commencement 2009 was a glorious day!

Our 550 graduates—literally surrounded by a great crowd of witnesses—were absolutely euphoric as they crossed the stage at Westchester County Center.

On the "pride" barometer, I think I was running neck and neck with their families and friends. I am so proud of the accomplishments of our new alumni! Each one has a unique story and that tapestry of testimonies crosses racial, age, gender, and socio-economic lines. They started differently, but they all made it to the finish line on Saturday, May 9, 2009.

Take a moment and enjoy our photo gallery of the day's events. If a picture does say a thousand words, you'll get the message loud and clear. It's all on their faces. They will make a difference in our world.

Giving God the glory,

Michael G. Scales
